The Akiles Versamac+ is an industrial grade semiautomatic punch which combines a superior punching strength of the industry leading Versamac with the automated efficiency of an ejector, stacker, and jogger. With motor speeds of up to 90 cycles per minute, the Akiles Versamac+ can punch over 500 sheets of 20 pound paper per minute without stress so you can finish your job quickly and efficiently. With the Versamac+, the operator's sole job is to load the paper and the machine will automatically punch, eject, stack, and jog. This allows the operator to focus solely on the paper feeding thereby speeding up the punching by up to 50% compared to regular punching. It features an extra wide 14" single punching length for legal sized sheets and larger documents. For special jobs, the Versamac+ can operate in two alternate modes: Punch only mode and foot pedal mode. With 14 available dies, the Versamac+ allows you to punch coil, wire, comb, and many other die patterns. To change a die, simply unlock and slide out the die. Slide the new die in. Once the die is locked in, the green light will appear and the machine is ready for operation. To disengage any of the die pins, simply remove the top cover and pull up the die. Replace the top cover and slide the die in. An oversized tray stacks and holds up to 3 reams of paper at once. The Versamac+ also comes with a free built-in die storage station granting you quick and easy access to your extra dies. One of the most unique features of the Versamac+ is that the dies allow you to adjust the depth margin of the holes so you can decrease the margin for smaller books and increase the margin for larger books to ensure that the pages don't tear out with usage. In addition, our dies also address the issue in other machines where sheets get stuck along the walls of the channel resulting in punching error. With our revolutionary fitted channel design, your documents never get stuck resulting in a consistent punch across all sheets. In the event of a paper jam, the Versamac+ features an auto-reverse button and is also equipped with a manual reverse driver to reduce unnecessary downtime.
