Coffee Corner with Dorthe Schjødt, Rollover Sales Director

We got to sit down with the new Sales Director at Rollover, Dorthe Schjødt. We love all the work that is being done over at Rollover and were excited to learn more about it while welcoming Dorthe to the print finishing industry.

About Rollover, in Dorthe’s Words

Rollover Norway Headquarters in Mysen, Norway

Rollover is a proud Norwegian-based company with all their products designed and engineered in Mysen, Norway. They also sport warehouses around the world to better serve their clients with faster lead times.

The company was founded in the late 1960s with a focus on blacksmithing and then expanded into sign-making in the late 80s. It became clear over the years that there was a need for a better way to laminate, apply, and handle large sheets of material, and Rollover was happy to take on the challenge.

After years of ideating, designing, and developing the first ever Rollover Flatbed Applicator hit the market in 2011. With an overwhelmingly positive response, the brand quickly grew as more and more companies realized how much time, energy, and money the table could save them. With continued innovation, Rollover products are now sold in over 60 countries. Dorthe is thrilled to be able to further expand these partnerships and ensure that those who can benefit from the roll applicator have access to it.

Say “Hey” to Dorthe Schjødt

Dorthe Schjødt joined the Rollover team at the start of 2025 and is excited to sink her teeth into helping print finishers, sign makers, and decal artist improve their laminating and application process. “The Rollover team is a small, loyal, and dedicated group of people who take pride in high-quality craftsmanship. We value the importance of our customers worldwide and strive to provide excellent customer service so they know they can rely on us.”

What is it about the print industry that you felt spoke to you?

The industry is all new to me. I think what drew me to this role was not so much the industry itself but instead selling a product that can be useful to a lot of different customers. We are helping printers, sign-makers, people making decals, and even those who make vinyl wraps for cars. Working at Rollover is exciting. You feel that you are lifting up and improving an entire industry, maybe even multiple!

What are you most excited to accomplish in your role over the next 5 years?

I think the biggest challenge we face, and many brands currently face, is awareness. It doesn’t matter how incredible your product is if no one knows about it or how to get it. I am excited to continue to work with and grow our dealer network. I especially want to focus on growing our U.S market so that we can continue to improve print finishing workflows across the world. With the help of dedicated dealers in each country, I know we will be able to reach everyone and provide the best service possible.

What product does your company currently sell that’s quickly becoming a favorite of yours?

Any of our flatbed applicators really are my favorite. They make things so much easier for print finishers. They make what is usually a multi-person job easy for just one person. You can’t beat that.

What goal does your company have for the year-end?

It is always our number one goal to keep both our dealers and our customers happy. We are continuing to prioritize providing the highest level of service possible from our Norway headquarters so we can best support the Rollover community.

It was an absolute pleasure getting to talk with Dorthe. She is sure to be an incredible addition to the print finishing family. We are excited to continue working with Rollover and help get their products into the hands of the shops that need them the most.
