This video provides a few extra details to the video provided by Formax for the Square It machine.

First of all, there is only one button and that is to select the size of booklet you’re running through.

It automatically sense when a project is inserted, which is really helpful for an assembly line setup with a booklet making printer. Of course you can insert them by hand as well.

And it shoots out the end.

If there happens to be a jam or some issue, it’s pretty easy to fix—just open the top and pull out the problem. Formax is really good at making machines that are simple to use for the user.

And the catch tray is adjustable, but usually should just stay out all the way.

Here is a close up of the final result, with a nice squared edge. The other end will stick out like this, though—so for the best results take a stack of squared booklets and cut off a tiny bit of the end with a stack cutter.
