- Insert your document into the pouch with the back facing the adhesive liner
- Place the pouch into a pouch carrier — if compatible with your machine
- Run carrier through your laminator
- Your document should now have lamination on one side and a peelable yellow release liner on the other.
If done correctly your sheet should now essentially be a sticker.
Making a Laminated Sign
Once you have laminated your image with a sticky back pouch you are ready to mount your sign.
- Select your substrate. The adhesive should be able to adhere to most smooth, dry surfaces. Remember that this glue is permanent so, while you might want to stick it to a wall or window, you may be better off using a mounting board to avoid damage to your walls.
- Peel back about an inch of the release liner and stick the exposed edge of your laminated document to the board, doing your best to align and center it in place.
- Slowly remove the rest of the liner smoothing as you go to remove any bubbles or creases. If you are struggling to get a perfect finish try using the back of a spoon to apply extra pressure when trying to smooth out problem areas
