The Executive Series
If you’re in need of a great-looking, professional-grade stapler, the Executive series is for you. There are two models in this lineup – the B4 and B5 – and the only difference between the two is size. (The B4 is a compact model that’s just over 5 inches long, while the B5 is full-size at 7 inches.) Both of these products can staple up to 40 sheets at once plus they offer three stapling modes (permanent, temporary, and tacking.) Also, these products are extremely well-built so you can use them for years to come. They are available in three colors: black, blue, and gray.
Flat Clinch Models
These products are simply Executive devices with a couple of great additional features. The first is this product’s ability to make your document take up 30% less storage space. The device achieves this by completely flattening the legs of the staple after it has entered your document. Also, the flat clinch products can staple 10 more pages at once than the regular Executive models, for a grand total of 50. Finally, if you want a flat clinch stapler that’s incredibly easy to use, you will want to check out the B8FC. It offers the same great stapling capacity and methods as the other models, but it requires 70% less effort to use it thanks to its Power on Demand feature. This is the only feature of its kind available in the stapling world. To use the B8FC to staple up to 50 pages, all you need to do is lift the top lever, no sweat or muscle involved. It’s stapling at its easiest and least strenuous.
The Professional-Grade Long-Arm Stapler
Long-arm devices are great for when your document is really large or if you need to create brochures, booklets, and other items with center-stitch fastening. The B17 is what you need in those circumstances. It can staple up to 11.75 inches away from the edge of your page and it will fasten up to 40 sheets. Its base is imprinted with both types of measurements (imperial and metric) and it can produce both temporary and permanent clinches.
Heavy-Duty Workhorses
Novus also has several heavy-duty staplers that are great for those tough jobs and/or environments in which a lot of stapling goes on. These products have the following impressive stapling capacities and throat depths:
Model B40 = 100 Sheets with a 2.75″ Throat
Model B45 = 140 Sheets with a 3.25″ Throat
Model B52 = 20-170 Sheets with a 4.25″ Throat
Model B56 = 20-210 Sheets with a 3″ Throat
Model B54 (long-arm) = 20-170 Sheets with a 9.88″ Throat
All of these heavy-duty products have an Anti-Blocking System (ABS) that will prevent staples from getting jammed up and either damaging your documents or not fastening them at all. This will let you create great-looking items more quickly.
Finally, all of these products come with a 10-year warranty, with the exception of the heavy duty models which have 5 years’ worth of coverage.
