This video will show you how to mount a Ghent whiteboard in three easy steps. It really isn't as hard as you might think. Although this video is provided by Ghent and shows how to mount one of their boards the same basic principles apply to boards from other manufacturers such as Balt/Best-Rite and Quartet. You can even use these instructions to mount a bulletin board, chalkboard or tackboard. Installing Ghent Marker Boards just got easier. Our new detach tray design helps lower labor costs by requiring fewer people needed for installation. Now installing is as easy as one, two, three.
Determine and mark a line at the desired height from the floor onto the wall. Place bottom edge of tray on the line and use the groove on the rear to guide as you drill holes through the tray. Secure the piece to the wall with the screws. Slide the marker board onto the tray. Then mark a line along the top edge of the marker board.
After removing the board, position the top edge of the L hangers along this line. Screw in the centre of each hanger slot and snuggly fasten. After replacing the board back onto the tray, tap the L hangers down until on top of the frame.
Using the L hangers as a template, mark the hole locations for the top screws and remove the board. Now drill holes into the top of the frame at each marked location. After replacing the back onto the tray, attach the marker board to the wall with screws provided. Installation is now complete.
