ProductDescription
The Standard APC-450 17.7" Programmable Electric Paper Cutter is an ideal choice for cutting digital prints and completing bleed trim work with a width of up to 17.7’’. Featuring an optimized design that focuses on enhancing productivity, the machine can store up to 30 programs with 99 steps each. Three memory buttons offer easy access to the programs, while a job recall function provides the easiest way to complete repeat jobs. Thanks to the LED cut line indicator, the operator can ensure a perfect cut. Safety features include a two button operation, infrared safety detection, an emergency stop feature, a safety cover, and area sensors that meet the Category 4 safety level according to ISO13849-1. The Standard APC-450 17.7" Programmable Electric Paper Cutter comes with a foot pedal as standard.
Product Details
- Control Panel:
- Job recall function. Frequent jobs, for example A3 cut to A4 can be recalled with the push of a button. Three “Quick Call” buttons are available to program frequent jobs.
- Programming function. Repeat jobs can be conveniently saved to memory. The capacity of job memory is 30 courses and 99 steps (total 300 points).
- Operator Safety:
- Standard Equipped Area Sensors. If the area sensors detect any objects, the cutting motion will stop immediately. These sensors meet the high level of safety in Category 4 according to ISO13849-1.
- Double Safety Circuit. The system is further equipped with a hard-wired secondary safety interrupt for operator safety.
- Foot Pedal: The foot pedal is provided as standard function. With the foot pedal, the paper will be clamped fi rmly before electrical powered clamp pressure.
- Backgauge: The backgauge can be moved by 0.1 mm / 0.005" accuracy. Automatic push-out is provided as a standard function for smooth and safe operation.
